Oxygen 6.2 Beta 3 fixes issues reported during the beta period. For a full overview of what’s new in Oxygen 6.2, refer to the Beta 1 announcement.
Oxygen now speaks your language
Oxygen has always been built in English, and until now that was the language you had to build in. Starting in 6.2 Beta 3, every label, button, and message in the builder can now be translated, and Oxygen picks up your WordPress language setting automatically when a translation is available. Nothing to configure.
Brazilian Portuguese is the first language shipped so far. If you’d like to see Oxygen in your language, please contribute at translate.breakdance.com.
Oxygen Elements
Text Link now receives an is-active class when its URL matches the current page, using the same mechanism as the menu link elements.
SVG Icon has been rebuilt to support modern icon libraries. The new element uses the “SVG Icon” name in the Add panel. Existing icons remain unchanged and appear as “SVG Icon V1.”
Breakdance Elements for Oxygen 6
The following items require the Breakdance Elements for Oxygen 6 extension to be installed and active.
New Swiper and Swiper Slide elements. Your agent can now build more complex sliders in Oxygen.
New Loop Cart Button element for building Components with custom Add to Cart buttons. This element requires WooCommerce to be installed and active.
Breakdance WooCommerce for Oxygen 6
The following item requires both Breakdance Elements for Oxygen 6 and Breakdance WooCommerce for Oxygen 6 to be installed and active.
The Product Tabs element now supports an accordion layout.
Builder
Added experimental WebMCP support, allowing compatible in-browser AI agents to edit the page currently open in Oxygen. Browser and agent support is still limited.
MCP Server
Added support for Popups in the MCP. Your agent can now build beautiful popups.
Sites now get a stable CSS class prefix, instead of each agent coming up with one of their own.
Introduced get-ecommerce-instructions tool: WooCommerce guidance for building Shop/Archive templates, Single Product pages, filters, and taxonomy loops. Your agent is now much smarter when building WooCommerce stores.
Introduced preview-post / preview-element tools: Render a post’s element tree or a single element over MCP so agents can verify their builds without spending too many tokens.
CSS !important Rules are now preserved in the CSS importer.
Fixed Global Settings failing output validation under certain conditions.
Better support for Dynamic Data so it shows as a badge in the UI instead of showing the Dynamic Data shortcode.
Tools that don’t accept inputs no longer trigger fatal errors.
Empty containers stay Containers in html-to-page instead of collapsing to an invisible, childless Text element
Fixed a PHP 7.4 parse error in the html-to-page tool.
Element schemas now expose the HTML tag, so agents can set a Container to render as a <section>, <header> or <nav> and build properly semantic pages.
Others
Fixed: Basic slider image/overlay sizing scoped under .bde-basicslider so generic img rules can’t override it.
Stale .breakdance ancestor prefix removed from a few elements’ hand-authored default.css, where the extra specificity beat the new unprefixed Breakdance Elements rules
Comment Form fix: Removed duplicate class attribute on the email label.
Fixed: the date picker in the condition editor selected the previous day in time zones ahead of UTC.
Fixed: an element with a lot of classes stretched the class chooser until the properties panel tabs were pushed out of view. The list now scrolls.
Fixed: opening a post whose template has no Template Content Area element left the builder hanging with no canvas, instead of showing the “This post can’t be edited directly” message.
New: Empty style inputs in the Elements panel now reveal the value inherited from the larger breakpoint, so you always know what you’re overriding.
Resolve CSS variable references in global settings CSS inside the builder

Bust the Selectors cache when regenerating the CSS cache in Settings -> Tools.
Don’t regenerate CSS caches when the stored cache is valid and empty. This means pages with many Components might load faster.

Right-click Paste Design and Paste Settings work through the fallback path where the Clipboard API is unavailable, and are disabled when multiple elements are selected.
Gallery lightbox captions are read from the rendered gallery item.
Missing Element notices render as HTML comments on the front end.
CSS generated for layered backgrounds keeps a final solid color layer.
Relative URLs are accepted when agents configure compatible element fields.

Fixed the code editor dialog not scrolling.
Fixed a crash when ScrollTrigger loaded before GSAP had registered it.
Fixed a runtime warning in the Structure panel’s node-name input.
Fixed local storage failures from blocking the builder; the session falls back to in-memory storage when browser storage is unavailable.
Oxygen 6.1.1 is a maintenance release focused on stability. It clears out a set of regressions reported after 6.1 and polishes the builder experience.
Changelog
Template Content Area <main> tag – Restored the default <main> tag on the Template Content Area element. After 6.1 it was rendering a <div>, which removed the main landmark from the page and was getting flagged by PageSpeed Insights and other SEO tools.
Design Library cache – Adding or removing a Custom Design Set now refreshes the Design Library right away, rather than showing a stale cached list.
Dynamic data controls – Dynamic data field controls now update live as you type instead of lagging behind the input.
Dynamic data attributes – Fixed the Custom Format field and its condition controls in dynamic data attribute settings.
Icon Manager – The Save button now correctly persists uploaded SVG icons.
Multi-select on Windows – Multi-element selection now uses the correct modifier key on Windows.
Structure panel scrolling – Clicking an element on the canvas scrolls the Structure panel to it and highlights it again.
Structure panel layering – Fixed z-index issues that could push the Structure panel behind other builder UI.
Variable fonts – Fixed variable fonts such as Noto Sans failing to load due to a truncated font-axis value.
Builder favicon – Restored the builder tab’s favicon.
Button-bar controls – Fixed buttons being cut off in multi-line button-bar controls.
Conditions preview – Restored the Conditions preview indicator, fixing the empty Condition column on the Templates, Headers, and Footers admin pages (conditions were still applied on the front end but no longer shown in the list).

Fix: Resolved a 6.1 regression where Element Studio edits could revert, control sections could collapse unexpectedly, and saved changes did not persist reliably.

This release wraps up the full Oxygen 6 launch cycle, bringing together the core foundation from the first Oxygen 6 release with everything added in Betas 2 through 5 and the Release Candidate.
