Short Description
Andy-FeedExport allows selecting specific forums for your feed with features like thread start date order and customizable options page. Easily install via zip file, customize settings in Admin Control Panel, and set RSS snippet length for optimal results.

Description:

Allows selecting specific forums for your feed.

Features:

  • Feed order is determined by thread start date.
  • Options page allows describing the feed.
Installation:

  1. Download Andy-FeedExport-1.0.zip and unzip it.
  2. Copy the src/addons/Andy/FeedExport directory to your server.
  3. From the Admin Control Panel Install the add-on.
Setup:

  1. Set the Discussion content RSS snippet length to 0.

    Admin control panel -> Setup -> Options -> Threads, discussions and conversations -> Discussion content RSS snippet length

  2. Update the Options page.
  3. Set the User group permissions. Typically this would be for the Unregistered / Unconfirmed and the Registered user groups.
How to use:

Add "feed" to your forum URL.
