It's complaining about a missing configuration file when importing the zip file.

Or is this theme for PS V. 8+ only?

upload it in back end ,no touch issue ,test with 8.1.2
1.make sure your php config allow than 12MB

It still doesn't work with the new version in 1.7.8.11
I get a 'Missing configuration file' error when uploading in backend.

Any idea why?

Does anyone have steps for the update?

I have followed these steps:

1. Backup the site DB & directory;
2. Extract the downloaded archive to your local machine;
3. Upload the extracted folder "v1_electron_1" (rename it if necessary - it must be this name) to public_html/themes and overwrite the contents of v1_electron_1;
4. Go to the admin panel of your site and go to Design > Themes;
5. Switch to the default theme and switch back to the Mega Electron theme;
6. Clear the cache;
7. Check for modules that need updating.

If everything is ok - Done!
In my case the PHP version is 8.1 and the PrestaShop version is 8.1.3.
